Alric Finished Dragonspyre, Defeated Malistaire - NEXT?!

There wasn't a lot left for Alric today in Drqagonspyre. He and Emeraldflame did the Father Drake tower to get the scales for the armor for the baby drake. Then it was off to talk to the dragon mommies once more., then to Ashley for her last words of encouragement. Emeraldflame let her Storm sister, Danielle Thunderblade, step in for most of Malistaire's. I brought in Fireslinger to do Tumok Gravelbeard(the two times we made the run.) I've done it plenty of times with my Storm girls but it's is really heavy on the need to use Pierce there(those myth guys with their 80% Storm Shields are kind of a nuisance and you really need to do them fast so as not to let them use earthquake on you.)

Danielle stayed to watch until Fireslinger and Alric were done, then Fireslinger left, and the original pair finished it up. I really didn't feel like messing with the pierce over and over today...then making poor Taryn make even more of them.

I have here a couple ending videos of the first two runs. Alric, unfortunately, had no luck on getting his gear today. But he did get LOTS for Luis to use in the future...plus some for a future Necromancer ;)
The reason you see the Storm minion in the first is that I often like to bring them out to take the flack off the Life person. It gives the Life person a chance to gain some more pips and heal some more if needed. It also keeps the enemies from wanting to put weakness on my Storm wizard when she has Dragonblade or any other balance-school blades that might get used. Also, this was the second minion and she had just called him up this time, really to get rid of one regular pip so she could have full power on that hit.


Second run. No minion used here...I didn't care about the one regular pip that time, I guess...lol...



So, what IS next? Well, it's Kaitlyn's turn now to do Dragonspyre. I will also be farming Mailstaire's at least one time a day, until Alric gets his robe, athame and ring. (It's always the first wizard on an account that has to do all this farming, any others will probably have all their gear by the time they reach 50.) I will probably be using a mix of wizards with Kaitlyn. Ice and Balance work very well together so Winterbane may be helping quite a bit, and sometimes Danielle might help, as well as Fireslinger is always good to have in certain situations.

Savannah and Gabrielle did meet up yesterday. They completed all but Frosthelm in the Vigrid Roughland. They might be doing Frosthelm today...hopefully. Then they will probably go back to Mooshu and continue on there with starting in the Village of Sorrow.

Also, there is always Luis to work on. He is still, basically, just starting in Krokotopia in the Pyramid of the Sun. Well, actually he has done quite a bit of that area and doesn't have a lot left of it...but it's still the beginning of Krok ;)

Alric's Adventures, and Remember the Old Fire Kraken?

I spent most of the day working on Alric Dreamhaven, my third Life wizard. I finished all of Shoshun Village with him today...including finishing off Cave of Solitude, and did all of Kishibe Village, then ran him, mostly solo, through Shiritaki Temple. The only time I brought in help was when fighting Wavebringer(because I really WANT the Lighting Bat and was hoping for better luck with having three of my wizards there.

I took Alric to GH, bought all the areas, got all the Yardbirds for him, got Feint for him. So, save for not having Reshuffle yet, he has bought all the spell I want him to have so far...which, of course, doesn't include what he still needs to learn in his school.

So, while in GH we had to go to Helgrind Warren to get that one bird that's in there. Well, you guys know I am a crafting nut and being that Alric is the only and main wiz on his account he will be the main crafter on that one, so I am always snatching up reagents. And....sometimes doing that can get you in trouble...lol. He got caught trying to snatch a Frost Flower in the Storm Room. I could have fled or hit ESC, but I was like "well, let's DO IT!"...lol. I wasn't gonna fight all those guys in those rooms, the drops are nothing special to me, but just thought I would anyway...something different.

So Alric and my Ice Grand fought their way through the entire dungeon. They got to the end and I remembered how cool of a room that was, so I figured I would take a video of it. I also brought in my Balance Grand, Heather Sandwalker, to give Ice some more power there...I mean the boss there is 8k health and, as usual, I wanted to kill them(boss and minions) all in one shot....so she came in late, carrying her Bunny Staff...lol. Usually I like Balance up first, fighters next, Life last...when in a group of 3-4 wizards, but I had sorta forgot how big this Grendel was...lol.

Anyway, anyone ever notice the Grendel Witch Doctor's Wand/Rattle thing? I love those! Those are so cool! They look so much better than the skull-topped wands we have.

Here's the end of the battle with Wavebringer....And, I must have the WORST luck...three wizards and still no Lightning Bat :(



Then here is Alric's solo kill of the Plague Oni, which he had to do to get his Dryad spell for as well. Yeah, he should have got it at level 38, but I really don't care enough about that spell to have brought him in any earlier to this dungeon. I am not all too fond of spells that take EVERY pip...they are usually good spells, but I can find better ways to accomplish what they do, except with Balance and Judgment...I mean that spell is their "lifeblood," so to speak...





After all that I decided to relax and take Alric and start him on a few little GH quests. I probably won't run him too much there, until Celestia comes out, maybe. But I just wanted something different to do...and honestly it hasn't been the most happy of days...wanted something to take my mind off things.

Hey, ya'll remember the old Fire Kraken? I mean; you guys all know they changed the graphics for it back around the beginning of December(I think it was)? Well, I thought that was such a SWEET version of it. I loved the red water around him as he rose up to attempt to kill me xD

Well, I want to close this huge post with a dedication and a Goodbye to a dear, beloved, furry family member. Today's post is dedicated to Sammi(Samantha) Iceweaver(her mom's wizard's last name there.) We will miss you, girl!

May she rest in peace...

Kaitlyn finally got her Krokotillian!

Well, she didn't get it herself, but her "sister" got it for her. I took Heather Jadeblade and Danielle Thunderblade in Big Ben, second time today. Didn't get the pet on the initial drop, but hit the second-chance chest 3 times and FINALLY got it! It's about time!...lol. Now Kaitlyn feels complete...for now, anyway xD

Kaitlyn will get a house sometime...all mine get them, but I am not sure I want ANOTHER Balance house, though I like the one Sandwalker has... A LOT. But I would like to see something different. Currently I have every school themed house, except Fire...I donno, I just never bought it...and it never went on sale either! And as for the old-style houses...I have or have had all them at one time except the small DS house and the big MB house. Hmmm...maybe Kaitlyn will get the big MB house....that's an idea!(she does have LOADS of MB stuff)...But not today...lol. She has plenty of gold for it but I still want to wait a while.
